Job Title: Service Delivery Director

Location: Hartford, CT

Duration: Full Time

Salary: $170-180k

Manages the delivery of a large, complex Systems implementation program on time, within budget, while meeting Customer's expectations. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of multiple projects and work streams to achieve the goals or objectives of the program within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. Shares responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities with client executives. Aligns program and Service delivery goals with business objectives. Monitors program and Service delivery activities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • IT project planning - cost, schedule, deliverables to meet business need.
  • Manage budget for program under direct control.
  • Serves as liaison with client stakeholders.
  • Client interface for requirements, prioritization, and rationalization.
  • Information Systems project execution including testing, documentation and training.
  • Risk management.
  • Works with Customer to establish and track performance criteria for BAU and programs under direct control.
  • Drive automation and transformation across the engagement
  • Ensure prompt identification and resolution of Service delivery issues
  • Ensure that all Service Levels are met.

  • Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in implementing large scale infrastructure support program and infrastructure project - on time, on budget, high business fit.
  • Knowledge/familiarity with Account management
  • Highly developed oral and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
  • High level of analytical ability.
  • Adept at handling unusual and difficult problems.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

  • Education and/or Training

  • Undergraduate degree required in business, math, computer science, engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus (preferred).
  • Typically a minimum of 15 years of experience with 5 years of experience in information technology program management or service delivery management across diverse infrastructure support areas and technologies.
  • MBA or advanced degree in MIS or computer science preferred.
  • Project Management Certification preferred
